My pieces are paintings that constructively emerge from the wall. They are windows that connect the interior and the exterior of evocative places in the world. Sharp angles and hidden spaces are found in how the shaped canvas unfolds and mesh with the oil application over the birchwood support.

I restrict their use as objects on a pedestal; rather, I treat them as intensely fabricated and installed architectural elements. My work is a discourse amid interior and exterior that must depend on a wall to existing.
